I was so shocked to see my backyard coated in this heavy, wet snow. We have had a lot of cold rain and sleet recently, but nothing that sticks around long. Walking the several blocks to class from my car was quite a circus. I was slipping and sliding in all the slush and snow packed on the ground. Luckily, I didn't fall, and I only yelped out loud a few times. (Yes, I make squealing and squeaking noises when I slip and lose my balance!)
When I got home, I peeled off my wet coat, hat, scarf, shoes and socks and snuggled into a bundle of blankets. There was only one thing left to do....
