Raisin Zucchini Spice Cupcakes

I started by peeling the outside of my zucchini. I left it in long, thin strips for my top decoration later on. I just put this pile aside until I was ready to work with it.
I mixed up my delicious spice cake mix according to the recipe directions. It smelled SO good at this point!

I then added my shredded zucchini and raisins. I gave them a good hearty stir and set to work lining my muffin pans.

Next I filled my muffin liners. Yes, being a messy muffin pan filler is sort of my specialty. I think it must make them taste better.

 Once they were out of the oven, I set them on racks to cool. I let them cool about twelve minutes before frosting.

I made the frosting according to the recipe directions and added my little swirly peels on top. Mmm mmm! Don't they look delicious?
