Wash Brush Floss Flush

While perusing Pinterest a few weeks ago I came across a cute bathroom sign that said "Bathroom Rules -Wash Brush Floss Flush." Since that time I have seen a few cute variations on the design. I decided to make my own version for our bathroom.

Making it was a very simple process. I purchased a piece of craft wood from Ace Hardware. You can use whatever size you fancy.

Pick out a background of cardstock (I chose light blue), and adhere it to the wood background. It doesn't have to be Gorrilla glued in place, it will be covered with Mod Podge later.

Next, I cut out a few strips of gray cardstock and used my Cricut to cut out brown vinyl letters. You could use paper letters, but I thought it would save time and be easier to use vinyl.

Glue down the strips and stick your vinyl letters to the background. Now you are ready to paint a few thin layers of Mod Podge over the top.

Use a blow dryer to speed up the drying process. Use your fingers to smooth out any bubbles and wrinkles as you go.

Find cute ribbon, staple it to the back. Make sure it's nice and secure. You don't want your ribbon unraveling and tearing once it has weight hanging from it.

Tie your ribbon into a cute bow and hang your awesome, new bathroom sign.

That's it! I told you it was simple. The pieces were easy to assemble, and the Mod Podge coating will help protect the sign from any moisture in the bathroom. I love that I could customize the colors to match our bathroom theme. Would you make one of these signs? What colors would you choose? Let me know in the comments below!

I love your sign. It's simple and sweet. Don't have a Cricut, so I will have to improvise on the letters...
