A Few Graduation Party Ideas

My amazing best friend has offered to throw me a BBQ party for my graduation in May. There will be lots of food, fun, family, and friends. Being in Wyoming, we plan to embrace the laid-back, rustic feeling and have a casual get together.

Here are some of my favorite ideas so far:

Mason Jar Utensils

A Soft Place to Land
I love the idea of using a mason jar to gather utensils for each guest. Adding the bandana as a cute twist on the napkin is perfect for a Wyoming party.

Tied Textbook Centerpiece

Rock UR Party
I have seen a few ideas for using your school textbooks as a centerpiece. I would like to do this with a few of my favorite books from school in a way where my party guests can pick them up and flip through them.

Tin Can Lanterns

Dollar Store Crafts
Wouldn't these tin can lanterns look super cute on a back porch when the sun starts to go down on our little BBQ party?

Framed BBQ Menu

Anders Ruff

Once we decide what food to have, it would be fun to set out a framed menu for party guests. Knowing how much we like good food, we might need a bigger frame!

Tied Burlap Table Runner

The Wedding Chicks
Nothing adds rustic charm to a party like a burlap table runner. I love how beautiful this runner looks tied with the jute twine.

These are just some of my favorite ideas that are coming together to form my graduation party. It will be here so much faster than I am prepared for. I still can't believe this is it. After the next 5 weeks, I will be done with college!

I'd love to hear what you think of the party ideas in the comments below!

Those are some GREAT ideas. I can't wait to eat Jessie's food...I mean, I can't wait to see you, and hopefully have some of Jessie's food. ;) I can't believe how fast the last few years have gone by. I am so SO proud of you!! It will be a good and well deserved party. :D
